Synology diminish support for HEVC (H.265), AVC (H.264), VC-1 videos, or HEIC photos stored on your Synology NAS (VC1 and HEVC codecs) and retire Video Station. To apparently reduce unnecessary system resource usage and to improve efficiency.
This will be the end of Synology NAS for me, and many others who valued the comprehensive, integrated Synology ecosystem.
