Possibly, the first photo of a cat in the world (1880-1890), and its author, Harry Pointer[1 ], a lover of animals and, at the same time, a new kind of art – photography.
It is also known that in 1872 he took hundreds of photos of his cats and only in 1884 published a separate photo album. It can be assumed that this picture was the most popular among others and rightfully deserved its place over the rest.
