Gallery: the world of fashion through the lens of Mark Shaw (real name Mark Schlossman, 1921 – 1969) is a fashion photographer. The peak of his fame came in the middle of the last century.

Shaw’s career began in 1946 at Harper’s Bazaar magazine, and later, from 1952 to 1968, Mark Shaw collaborated with the LIFE magazine, and was one of the first photographers to use colour to photograph runways and backstage at high fashion shows.

  2. Fabulous! I especially love the last one; it feels like a mash up of the Roaring 20s and the Go-Go 60s – so cool! Linda xx
